Guggenheim : Hilma af Klint : Paintings For The Future

In 2018, in collaboration with the Guggenheim Museum’s Director of Retail, Maya applied her innovative artistic sensibilities to create an ambitious suite of clothing and accessory pieces for the Guggenheim Museum Store, inspired by the work of Hilma af Klint, in alignment with the artist’s premier retrospective at the museum: Paintings for The Future.

A celebration of the artist’s pioneering abstractionist style designed to be relevantly worn today, the designs include a tote bag, phone cases, tie, T-shirt, sweatshirts, tunics, and leggings.
